Side Effects and Warnings
- Can cause decrease in activity, tremors, and biting. Patients taking thiothixene should have liver values and blood tests done periodically.
- Use with caution in pets with glaucoma, who should also avoid undue exposure to sunlight
- Consult your veterinarian regarding any allergies your pet may have, and any other side effects of this medication
